Penultimate  Saturday would not be forgotten in a hurry by the people of Ivbiaro Community in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State. It was the day His Royal Highness, Alimu Abu Oshameh, the Ogie and Clan Head of Ivbiaro Kingdom conferred chieftaincy titles on Ekpeakhena and Aroakhena Age Groups in the community. The historic ceremony took place in his palace. 

The community was agog as the ceremony attracted people from all walks of life to felicitate with His Highness and the celebrants.

The celebrants in their traditional regalia danced to the admiration of all as the traditional musicians were in their best element. “Yes, they really mesmerized the large audience. They displayed the real culture and tradition of the people. It was simply unique,” the amiable and visibly elated Highness of Ivbiaro Kingdom, HRH Alimu Abu Oshameh said, while fielding questions from journalists. He thanked God for making the ceremony a huge success and went further to commend his people for their co-operation and steadfastness.                          

He said: “I thank God Almighty for making the ceremony a huge success and I commend my people for their co-operation and steadfastness. I pray God to continue to bless and unite us in all ramifications”, he declared.
