The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (T.A.T), has presented Certificates of Appointment to the newly sworn-in Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisors and Special Advisers across various departments of the council, formally marking their assumption of office.

Aare Taiwo congratulated them on their appointments and reminded them that the positions come with enormous responsibility and a call to serve the people of Ejigbo with dedication, transparency, and commitment.

He urged the appointees to see their new roles as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to grassroots development, stressing that effective collaboration with the management and staff of the council would be essential in achieving the administration’s goals.

The newly inaugurated officials include Supervisor for Revenue Abimbola Nicholas; Environment - Tajudeen Sulaimon; Political Affairs - Paul Ojedokun; Health - Saheed Kasumu; Special Duties - Onadeko Kehinde; Youth and Sports - Abdulsalam Rasaq Abolorer; ICT - Adebisi Sodiq; Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Mrs. Ogundowole Abimbola, and Agriculture and Rural Development Mathew Gbadegesin, among others.

Also appointed are Mrs. Yemisi Otuyemi, Secretary to the Local Government; Mr. Kehinde Abdullah, Special Adviser on Religion Matters; Mr. Sukore Peter, Special Adviser on Chieftaincy and Boundary Matters; Mr. Adelabu Akeem Adebayo, Special Adviser on Budget and Statistics; and Mr. Ridwan Akinwunmi, Special Adviser on Tourism and Culture.

Meanwhile, Folakemi Iyunade Agboola has pledged to improve the education status of the council.

This followed her appointment as the Head of the Education Department and a member of the Executive Committee. She will coordinate the activities of the Education Department and support the supervision and implementation of key educational initiatives and projects across the council area.

Agboola is expected to bring dedication, leadership, and strategic oversight to the position as she works closely with the council leadership to advance educational growth and opportunities for the community.

Community members and stakeholders, who welcomed her appointment, believe her leadership will contribute significantly to the continued progress of education in Ejigbo.
