lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi, Oba Saheed Elegushi on his 50th birthday.
He described the monarch as a passionate and visionary leader whose reign has brought peace, growth and development to his domain.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, said he has distinguished himself in service.

He said: “Elegushi has dedicated his life to service of people and community, particularly the traditional institution in Ikate-Elegushi and Lagos.
“He is a visionary and vibrant ruler who has contributed to growth and development of his domain in almost two decades of his reign as the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi.
“As Elegushi celebrates his 50th birthday, I pray that he will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers for the continuous service to humanity. God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding for a continuous reign of peace, prosperity and love in Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom.”
