Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, has described the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a personal project, pledging his unwavering support to ensure its success.

Bello made the declaration while receiving members of the pro-Tinubu group, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement, at his residence in Abuja.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, noting that the party provided his first political opportunity, leading to his election and re-election as governor, the emergence of his successor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and other elected officials in the state since 2016.

“How can I be ungrateful to such a political party? President Tinubu’s re-election project is personal to me as a party man and because of the Renewed Hope programmes already bringing progress to our nation,” Bello said.

He also expressed his readiness to collaborate with his younger brother, Barrister Seyi Tinubu, and members of the movement to secure victory at the polls.

The leadership of RTIFN explained that the group was established to mobilise citizens across communities, educate the grassroots on government policies, promote the Renewed Hope agenda, counter misinformation, and strengthen support for President Tinubu’s programmes ahead of the next general elections.

Ambassador Ahmed Bala, National Coordinator of RTIFN, commended Bello for his contributions to the party and national development, describing him as a dependable pillar in strengthening the APC structure in the North Central region.

Bello was subsequently appointed as one of the North Central Patrons of the movement, tasked with coordinating mobilisation and engagement across the region under the leadership of founder Barrister Seyi Tinubu.

Also in attendance were Amb. Felix Arome (National Secretary), Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade (National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilisation), Mr. Musa Abdulrahman (National Publicity Secretary), Rt. Hon. David Idris Zakariya (Member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Kogi Project Coordinator), alongside other state and national executives of the movement.
