Exhibitors from across the world in the pharmaceutical and allied sectors have intensified efforts to secure distributorship deals, technical collaborations, and commercial partnerships, as the third edition of PharmaWest Africa opened in Lagos.

Participants are also exploring opportunities for Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), with a focus on expanding trade and investment across West Africa’s growing pharmaceutical market.

The exhibition, which works closely with key industry associations and regulatory bodies, provides exhibitors with access to verified buyers, improved market credibility, and a structured platform for compliant trade and long-term business expansion.

Speaking on the development, organisers under Trade Show Organisers Nigeria Limited said the platform is designed to build strong industry linkages through impactful events that support business growth, industry development, and community engagement.

The Exhibition Manager, Mr Kieran Westlake, said the company leverages deep industry knowledge and a hands-on approach to ensure participants benefit from meaningful connections and sustainable business relationships.

He described the current edition as highly impactful, noting that it has continued to strengthen economic opportunities by bringing global stakeholders together to explore Nigeria’s pharmaceutical market.

Westlake added that the exhibition has recorded consistent growth since its inception, with increasing participation from foreign companies seeking long-term partnerships in Africa.

“We have entered the third edition with record-breaking achievements as the forum continues to drive growth. It has created opportunities for global manufacturers to secure long-term distributorship agreements with local companies. Many foreign firms are now seeking broader partnerships across Africa,” he said.

According to her, the event has continued to create commercial opportunities and strengthen collaboration across the pharmaceutical value chain.
