Speaking during at the launch, Fakunle explained that the philosophy behind the book was inspired by the adaptive nature of a chameleon, symbolising an actor’s ability to transform convincingly into diverse roles while maintaining emotional authenticity.

He described the publication as a practical and reflective guide aimed at helping actors move beyond raw talent by embracing structured methods of character interpretation, performance psychology and disciplined artistic practice.

Fakunle expressed hope that the book would serve as a learning resource for aspiring actors, drama students and professionals seeking deeper mastery of the craft, adding that more literary projects are already in development.

The launch also featured networking sessions and industry discussions centred on knowledge-sharing and the future of acting education in Nigeria.
