Content creator and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has stated that his N100 million in savings is off-limits, even in urgent family crises.

In a video with media personality Peller and skit maker Sir Balo, Peller said he never lets his account balance fall below N100 million.

He said he would not touch the money even if anyone in the family wanted to die.

According to him, when he needs urgent cash while broke, he takes music promotion deals worth around N3 million instead of dipping into his savings.

“I don’t ever allow myself to be broke below ₦100 million. Even if anybody wants to d+e in the family, I won’t touch it. I always make sure my money never drops below ₦100 million.

“There are times I’ll need urgent money when I’m broke, and I’ll just take a music promotion and ask for like ₦3 million just to do it. But that saved 100million, I won’t touch it, because once you start, you’ll continue spending,” he said.

The comments sparked widespread reactions on social media regarding money, savings, and financial discipline.

Supporters said strict financial boundaries are necessary for long-term stability in Nigeria’s economic climate.

Critics called the stance too rigid, saying it ignores family responsibility, especially in emergencies where quick financial help can be life-saving.
