Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State on Saturday announced a movement to campaign in the state for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
He announced the constitution and responsibility of the team during the conduct of the state’s congress of the APC at the Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola, pledging to start work immediately on the task of making APC win at all levels in the state come 2027.
"From this ground, I am going all out, with boots on and sleeves rolled up, to deliver Adamawa state to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR in 2027. I am formally declaring an onslaught to win because winning is in our DNA," Fintiri declared.

He added, "I would also like to formally announce here that we have just formed the Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH226M), with myself, as the Patron; the Deputy Governor as Chairman, all State Executive Council members, all advisers, all heads and members of Boards and Parastatals, all Chairmen of Local Government Areas, Development Area Administrators, 226 Ward Councillors as members."
The governor said he would be constituting the structure of the movement from the wards to the state level and it will be formally inaugurated next week.

"I call on all Fintiri and Fresh Air support groups to melt into this movement," he said, adding that the movement is a train with a grassroots base and an aggressive speed that is capable of carrying everyone.
The APC state congress itself produced Alhaji Hamza Madagali, the immediate chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, as the new APC state chairman; while APC's past state secretary, Raymond Chidama became the deputy chairman.
Comrade Mustapha Ribadu who was the organising secretary in the immediate past APC state Exco, emerged the new state secretary, with PDP's immediate publicity secretary, Victor Dogo carrying on the same role as the new APC publicity secretary.
