Flour Mills of Nigeria has partnered France for 2026 Paris International Agricultural Show, to deepen trade ties and expand market opportunities for Nigerian-made products.
The annual fair, known as Salon International de l’Agriculture, began on February 21 and will end on March 1.
The event is regarded as one of the world’s largest agricultural exhibitions. In 2025, it attracted 607,503 visitors, nearly 4,000 animals and over 1,000 exhibitors from across the globe.
Flour Mills, member of France–Nigeria Business Council, is participating for the second time, after its debut in 2024.
The company said its involvement aligns with efforts to strengthen commercial links between Nigeria and France, while positioning Nigerian agribusiness players on the global stage.
This year’s theme is “Generations Solution,” with a focus on knowledge transfer and innovation to advance global agriculture.
Company Chair, John Coumantaros, said France–Nigeria relationship is built on shared interests and expanding trade.
He saidthe firm’s continued participation at the show reflects its commitment to product and process innovation, as well as its drive to enhance Nigeria’s footprint in international trade.
Managing Director of Agro and Director of Strategic Engagement/Stakeholder Relations, Sadiq Usman, said the company’s mission of “Feeding and Enriching Lives Every Day” has been consistent despite changing economic realities.

He noted that FMN’s support for the Nigerian Pavilion underscores its belief that technical collaboration and knowledge exchange are critical to unlocking the next phase of growth in global agribusiness.
The Nigerian Pavilion features major corporate players including Dangote, BUA, Zenith Bank and Access Bank, alongside other partners.
Incorporated on September 29, 1960, Flour Mills of Nigeria began operations as a pioneer wheat miller. Over the decades, it has expanded across key value chains including grains, sugar, cassava starch, feeds and protein, edible oils and fats.
Through its flagship brand, Golden Penny, the company produces a range of food products widely consumed across Nigerian households.
FMN says its long-term vision remains anchored on driving food security, market diversification and value chain development within Nigeria and across Africa.
