The management of Capital Y Entertainment Limited has resolved to partner Amuwo Odofin Local Government in its bid to build and boost capacity among the youths.
In a statement issued by the company’s leadership, Yusuf Amao announced its forthcoming City Boy Pool Challenge a dynamic and innovative sporting championship designed to celebrate youth excellence, foster community unity, and stimulate grassroots economic activity.
Capital Y Entertainment Limited a leading youth-focused and urban-centric entertainment and sporting activities company intends to host the event in partnership with Amuwo Odofin LGA, as a way to commemorate the initiative marking the anticipated re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027.

The statement read in part, “The championship reflects a fusion of sports, entertainment, and civic engagement, demonstrating how recreational platforms can be strategically used to promote positive social values and youth empowerment.
“Designed as a high-impact recreational and competitive tournament, the City Boy Pool Challenge will feature open category contests, celebrity exhibition matches, youth showcase, live entertainment, brand activations, and vendor participation.

“With an expected turnout of between 800 and 1,500 participants and spectators, the initiative is poised to position the municipality as a vibrant hub for progressive youth-driven activities.
“Beyond competition, the event serves broader developmental objectives, including discouraging youth involvement in social vices through constructive engagement, discovering and nurturing billiards talents, strengthening public-private collaboration, and boosting local commerce through increased visitor traffic.
