First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated Princess Sarah Sosan, OFR, a former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, on her 70th birthday, describing her as a leader who contributed meaningfully to the growth and development of the state.
In a goodwill message to mark the milestone, Mrs Tinubu joined Sosan’s family, associates, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating what she described as the former deputy governor’s “platinum birthday celebration.”
The First Lady recalled Sosan’s years of service in Lagos State government, noting that her tenure left a notable imprint, particularly in the education sector.
“As a former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, you contributed to the growth and development of the state, especially in the education sector,” Tinubu said.
She also offered prayers for Sosan as she joined the league of septuagenarians, asking God to grant her continued well-being and fulfilment.
“As you join the league of Septuagenarians, I pray the Lord God grants you divine health, peace, renewed strength, and joy in the years ahead,” she stated.
Tinubu wished the former deputy governor a happy birthday and expressed hopes for many more years of strength and happiness.
Princess Sarah Sosan served as Deputy Governor of Lagos State and is widely regarded as one of the prominent female political leaders in the state’s recent history.
