First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated Princess Sarah Sosan, former deputy governor of Lagos State, on her 70th birthday, describing her as a leader who contributed meaningfully to the growth and development of the state.

In a goodwill message to mark the milestone, Mrs Tinubu joined Sosan’s family, associates, friends and well-wishers in celebrating what she described as the former deputy governor’s “platinum birthday celebration.”

The First Lady recalled Sosan’s years of service in Lagos State Government, noting that her tenure left a notable imprint, particularly in the education sector.

Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Mrs. Sosan on the occasion of her 70th birthday.

The party’s spokesman, Seye Oladejo, in a statement yesterday in Ogba, Lagos, said:

‘’Mrs. Sosan’s remarkable journey in public service remains a source of pride to our party and the people of Lagos State.

‘’As deputy governor from 2007 to 2011, she served with dedication, integrity and an unwavering commitment to the growth and development of our dear state. Her tenure was marked by purposeful leadership, steadfast loyalty to progressive ideals, and impactful contributions to governance, particularly in the advancement of education and community development.

‘’A seasoned educationist and grassroots mobiliser, Mrs. Sosan has consistently demonstrated that leadership is best expressed through service.

Her passion for empowering women, mentoring young leaders, and strengthening party structures across the state has left an enduring legacy within the APC and beyond.

‘’At 70, Mrs. Sosan stands tall as a symbol of humility, resilience and principled leadership. Her life reflects the very values our party upholds-discipline, service, and commitment to the welfare of the people.

‘’On behalf of the leadership and members of the Lagos State APC, we celebrate her achievements, honour her sacrifices and express our profound gratitude for her continued guidance and support.
