First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has urged Muslim faithful across the country to remember Nigeria in their prayers for greater peace and prosperity as they begin the holy month of Ramadan.

In her Ramadan message on Tuesday, the First Lady called on Nigerians to use the sacred period of fasting and devotion to seek divine intervention for the nation’s wellbeing.

“During this holy month of fasting and prayers, I urge us all to remember our beloved nation in prayers for greater peace and prosperity,” she said.

Senator Tinubu congratulated Muslims on the commencement of Ramadan, describing it as a blessed season of spiritual renewal, reflection and communion with Allah.

“I felicitate with the Muslim faithful as you commence this blessed month of Ramadan,” she stated.

She prayed that the holy month would bring peace, joy and spiritual fulfilment to individuals, families and the country at large.

“I pray this Holy month bring you and your family and the nation as a whole, peace, joy, and spiritual fulfilment,” she said.

The First Lady also offered prayers for the acceptance of supplications and forgiveness of sins throughout the Ramadan period.

“May Almighty Allah accept all our supplications, forgive all our sins and answer all our prayers,” she added.

Senator Tinubu concluded the message with goodwill to Muslim faithful, saying, “Ramadan Kareem.”
