Popular content creator Folagade Banks has launched his local clothing brand, House of Folagade, a fashion line focused on Adire outfits.

The skit maker, widely known for playing Mama Deola in his comedy videos, announced the launch on his Instagram page on Monday, sharing a promotional video featuring him and several popular entertainers.

In the video, Banks appeared alongside fellow content creators Nas Boi, Broda Shaggi, Shank Comics, and others, who modelled pieces from the newly unveiled collection.

Announcing the brand to his followers, Banks described the initiative as a heartfelt gift to fans who have supported his creative journey over the years.

“I present to you all, House of Folagade. Patronise Mama Adeola. My gift from the deepest place of love in my heart to those who have loved the brand all over the years and want Mama Deola to be as close as being in their homes,” he wrote.

The comedian also disclosed that the Adire dresses would be available for purchase at a starting price of N50,000, encouraging his fans to support the brand.

House of Folagade focuses on traditional Adire fabric, a locally made textile that has gained renewed popularity in contemporary Nigerian fashion.

The launch video, which has continued to generate reactions online, showcased different colourful designs, with the featured influencers praising the creativity and cultural appeal of the outfits.

Fans and followers flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, commending Banks for expanding his brand beyond comedy into fashion.

With the introduction of House of Folagade, Banks joins a growing list of Nigerian entertainers leveraging their influence to venture into the fashion industry while promoting indigenous fabrics.
