Basorun Odetola Babatunde, the forum said: ‘’We rejoice with our illustrious son, statesman and former governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Fayemi, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, celebrated on February 9.
‘’Fayemi is widely acknowledged for bringing modernity, innovation and strategic thinking into governance in Ekiti State. His administration laid a strong foundation for institutional reforms, infrastructural development and people-centred policies that repositioned the state for sustainable growth.
‘’Notably, his leadership foresight and commitment to continuity in governance culminated in the emergence of a prolific and energetic successor in the person of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, thereby ensuring stability and steady progress in the affairs of Ekiti State.
