He underscored the corps’ commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society, praising officers for achieving zero traffic crashes and maintaining seamless vehicular movement throughout the Yuletide period.

‎He also commended residents for their cooperation in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow, particularly along the River Niger corridor, during the Christmas and New Year festivities.

‎"Beyond rescuing crash victims, the corps remains committed to supporting them during recovery by paying hospital visits and extending care within available resources.

‎“Each year at the conclusion of Operation Zero Traffic Crash, we appreciate our personnel for their dedication.

"The Niger Bridge usually records heavy gridlock during Yuletide, but last year we addressed the challenge decisively. Our officers were fully deployed and worked tirelessly,” he said.
