Renowned Fuji musician Shanko Rasheed Atanda has announced the passing of his first son, Jamaldeen Atanda.

The musician shared the news on his Instagram page on Friday, expressing profound grief over the loss.

He described the pain of losing a child as a tragedy no parent wishes to experience, offering prayers for his son's peaceful rest.

“So Sad, no parent prays to lose a child in their lifetime but Alhamdulilahi Jamaldeen Emrs Atanda JNR rest well my champ I will surely tell you all about it when I see you again. Omo Ola sun reeee,” he wrote.

Shanko did not provide details regarding when or how Jamaldeen passed away.

The tragic incident followed the celebration of Jamaldeen's 12th birthday in December, which Atanda marked with a heartfelt message.
