Organisers of the National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally 2026 have constituted a high-profile entertainment committee led by Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu ahead of the May 5 event at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.  

The initiative, tied to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, announced the committee on its official Instagram account.  

Organisers said the committee will handle cultural and creative engagement at the rally.

The event is themed “The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!!” and is projected to draw millions of women from across Nigeria.  

The organisers described the rally as a movement to celebrate women and showcase culture through creativity and unity, not just entertainment.  

“This is more than entertainment, this is the spirit of the movement in motion. Celebrating women. Showcasing culture. Inspiring a nation through creativity and unity,” the statement read.

Co-chairpersons include Hannatu Musa Musawa, Rachael Umahi, Ramatu Tijani, Rahama Sadau, Eniola Badmus, General Deaconess Ngozi Okoh, and Tola Akerele.  

The lineup also includes top government officials and Nollywood stars, according to the announcement.
