As the 2025/26 Premier League season draws to a close, the title race intensifies as Arsenal lead the table with 73 points from 34 matches, closely followed by Manchester City on 70 points with a game in hand.

While the title race remains tight, a points-per-game (PPG) analysis of managers has offered a deeper look into performance levels of coaches and teams across the campaign.

According to Planet Football, here are the top 10 managers in the English Premier League:

1. Michael Carrick - 2.17 PPG since taking interim charge at Manchester United.

2. Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) - 2.14 PPG

3. Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) - 2.12 PPG

4. Arne Slot (Liverpool FC) - 1.70 PPG

5. Unai Emery (Aston Villa) - 1.70 PPG

6. Enzo Maresca (formerly of Chelsea FC) - 1.58 PPG before his January exit
