The Gbenu Youth Movement led by Comrade David Sunday Aladeotan has promised to back the immediate past Chairman of Badagry-West Local Council Development Area, Gbenu Henugbe Joseph, to contest for the Lagos State Assembly, Badagry Constituency I seat.
Aladeotan said Joseph had continued to demonstrate commitment to grassroots development, with education as a priority.
In a statement, he listed his achievements as the construction of The Salvation Army Primary School, Boglo.

Before Joseph’s intervention, Aladeotun said, the old structure had been unhabitable for learning as a result of its proximity to the sea.

The laudable intervention not only provided a conducive and modern learning environment but also reaffirmed his dedication to investing in the future of Badagry West by strengthening the foundation of basic education, which has empowered young minds and contributed meaningfully to societal growth and development,’’ he added.
Aladeotan also said Joseph had translated leadership into measurable development, delivering impactful projects and programmes that improved the lives of residents across Badagry West LCDA.

Aladeotan listed other Joseph’s contributions as provision of structures at Methodist Primary School, Enuko, St. Peter Primary School, Agonrin Sea Beach, Methodist Primary School, Kweme, and Our Lady of Fatimah School, Ganyingbo.
He added that Joseph also gave bursary awards to students in higher institutions, provided a school bus for pupils’ transportation to and fro school, and yearly distribution of school uniforms and writing materials to vulnerable pupils in the public primary schools within the council.
According to him, Joseph built and equipped the Primary Health Care Centre in Apa and Boglo, procured an ambulance to strengthen emergency medical response, rehabilitated Farasime PHC and the former Apa PHC, among others.
