The Southern Coalition for Tinubu 2027 has begun it's nationwide tour to drum support for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu.
The leadership of the group met in Ibadan, Oyo state on Monday to kick off its sensitization tour of Southwest states.
The national coordinator of the coalition, Pastor Bassey James, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, added that market and trade unions, youth associations among others would would help propagate the Tinubu reelection message.
James said that the meeting of the group in Ibadan will be followed by similar visits to major state capitals in the South and the North.
The statement also signed by Professor Ebere okorie and Dr Sayid Asamudo commended the unity of purpose by people who desirous of supporting President Bola Tinubu administration.
The group explained that it's major aim was to draw the attention of Nigerians to the many achievements of President Tinubu and why he should be reelected in 2027.
The statement reads in parts, "it is very important that we go round to meet our people and to inform them of the plan of our group to build a united front for 2027 project.
"The idea is to identify our grassroots mobilizers who will help in sharing our magazines, fliers in all the the state capitals, our inclusion of professionals, professors and academicians is definitely going to attract more of our young people.
"We want President Tinubu to come back and complete his laudable projects which he has started in the interest of the country.
"These achievements must be sustained and we urged the whole south to speak with one voice,.
"It is introvertible that the whole country has seen the transformations in critical sectors of the economy, infrastructures and growths which confirms the World Bank's testimony that the economy is moving on the right direction".
According to the statement , "Mr President has shown leadership, competence, capacity that he is capable of turning things around for the good of the country.
"Today there is stability in exchange rates, foreign investors are having faith in the country, there is a purposeful drive in Sustainable Development Goals.
"The education sector is getting more investments, the Nigerians student's loans scheme is assisting our students back to schools.
"The President is uniting the country, governance with human face is established and People are coming together with greater aspirations to develop the country".
