The Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF) has inaugurated a Grassroots Support Network (GSN) comprising over 10,000 mobilisers drawn from the 239 electoral wards across Kogi State.
The inauguration, held in Kabba, the senatorial headquarters of Kogi West, attracted leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), key stakeholders, and supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen grassroots backing for the President in the state.
According to the organisers, the mobilisers were selected based on proven capacity, commitment, and dedication to advancing progressive governance and development.
The network is designed to galvanise grassroots support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition, alongside other APC candidates in the state, ahead of the 2027 general election. It also seeks to strengthen citizen participation in governance and consolidate support for the administration’s policies.

The structure of the network is anchored on ward coordinators across all 239 wards, with the KPSF State Secretariat providing technical support while ensuring operational autonomy at the local level.
Speaking at the event, KPSF State Coordinator, Hon. Sani Idakwo Philips, expressed confidence that the growing support for President Tinubu in Kogi would translate into a significant electoral outcome in 2027.
He commended key initiatives of the administration, including the student loan scheme, coastal infrastructure projects, and broader efforts aimed at sustainable national development, which he said have enhanced Nigeria’s global standing.
Philips also acknowledged the contributions of Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, representing Kogi West, for supporting programmes that strengthen the President’s support base across the state.
He urged residents of Kogi State to remain steadfast, noting that sustaining the administration’s policies through a second term would further advance national development.
