The Security and Public Affairs Analysts Forum has commended President Bola Tinubu for his ongoing tax reform initiatives.
The organisation issued a statement in Abuja on Wednesday by its Head of Investigation, Olasunkanmi Olayinka, commending.

It praised the administration’s efforts to overhaul the tax system and address security challenges, describing them as clear signs of patriotism and commitment to national development.
However, the group decried what it termed an “unexplained delay” in the assumption of office by retired Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Adamu at the Military Pension Board, following his reported appointment on December 4, 2025.
According to the Forum, the appointment was duly conveyed through official communication from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and acknowledged by relevant government agencies, raising questions about the cause of the delay.
While reiterating its support for the President’s reform agenda, the group urged swift intervention to address the situation, stressing the need for clarity and a timely resolution to ensure smooth operations at the Military Pension Board.
The Forum also offered prayers for continued wisdom and strength for the President as he navigates governance and national challenges.
