Gospel musician Moses Bliss has recounted the harrowing health crisis his wife, Marie Bliss, faced shortly after childbirth, describing how an undiagnosed ailment left her in severe pain and struggling to breathe before a sudden turnaround through prayer.

Speaking during his ministration at the Mountain Experience programme held in Abuja, Bliss shared the story, which he said occurred while they were in the UK.

The testimony has since gone viral, drawing reactions from fans who praised God for what they described as divine intervention.

According to Bliss, the ordeal began unexpectedly in the Midlands area of London.

He said he had to travel to Nigeria for a scheduled programme, leaving his wife in the hospital.

Bliss attributed the swift recovery to the power of prayer and God’s intervention, framing the experience as a test of faith that ultimately strengthened their trust in divine healing.

‎”Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came. My wife became ill with one side of her body paining her, the back is also paining her, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became serious that we had to take her to the hospital. And doctors said they don’t know the cause.

“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on and I started crying. I had to quickly rush down to Nigeria for a program. On the flight back to London, the spirit of God told me what are you waiting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, to this Harassment. Who are you waiting for?

“So when I got to the hospital I started praying with my wife, and pumping the words of God into her heart. While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” he said.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2024 and welcomed their first child last year, have been celebrated for their faith-filled journey both in music and ministry.
