An aspirant in All Progressives Congress (APC) for Oredo East Constituency seat in Edo State House of Assembly, Iziegbeuwa Ojo, has concluded consultation tour of the six wards that constitute the constituency.

During the consultation, Iziegbeuwa assured party executives, women groups and youth representatives that she remained committed to grassroots development.

She said the tour was part of her engagements with party leaders and members ahead of the party’s nomination process.

Addressing stakeholders, Iziegbeuwa stressed the importance of unity and grassroots connection in strengthening the party.

She said her aspiration was anchored on her record of community engagement, driven by service and visible impact.

She added: “Strong representation begins with listening. These consultations have given me the opportunity to hear directly from our leaders and members on what truly matters to our people.

“I am already contributing to Oredo’s development, and I believe we can do much more together through purposeful and people-centred representation.

“This process has strengthened my resolve. I remain committed to representing our people with integrity, responsiveness and a focus on development that impacts everyday life.”

Party members at the meetings said Iziegbeuwa had used her Smile@Christmas outreach initiative to provide food for the poor.

They said her involvement in community development efforts led to provision of street lighting projects and local empowerment for youths.
