Rapper Aboriomoh Femi Raymond, popularly known as Dremo, has expressed frustration over what he described as a lack of recognition for his talent in Nigeria’s music industry.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Echo Room podcast, the former Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) artiste said his abilities in the studio are largely overlooked.

“I feel like I am so underrated. People don’t know what I can do in the studio. But it is okay, I like the underdog story. Dem no rate me at all,” he said.
Dremo attributed the situation partly to the limited appreciation for rap music in Nigeria, compared to Afrobeats and pop genres.
He also disclosed that his time at DMW fell short of expectations, noting that the label’s focus on its founder, Davido, affected the visibility and growth of other artists under the imprint.
