Actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has shared a testimony during a gospel ministration in Tanzania, reflecting on the "dark days" of her past.

Speaking about her journey toward finding direction, she revealed that her search once led her toward unhealthy choices and spiritual paths she now deeply regrets.

During her address, Dikeh disclosed that she had previously been involved with a cult and worked alongside dark forces in her attempt to navigate life's challenges.

She described this period as being filled with "filth and dirt," acknowledging that she had once felt lost and confused.

However, the actress noted that she reached a significant turning point when she felt a divine call to return to her faith.

According to her, she now feels redeemed and chosen to share her story.

Reflecting on her transformation, Dikeh expressed deep gratitude for the path she is now on, stating that she has come to realise that mercy is the very essence of her Savior.

She said, “In the midst of trying to navigate life, I’ve dipped my hands in so much filth and dirt, I’ve joined a cult, I’ve worked with a demon so hard. I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything for me anymore. Today God said… I’ll take you back and clean you up. I’ll put you on altars to preach my gospel.”

“I went from being a drvg addict to being a woman on the alter that praises God, Devil worshipper to a woman who will pray down fire, to a woman that God can trust. I always questioned God why he chose me and God said why not you?”

"I often ask Him, ‘Why me?’ and he answers, ‘Why not you?’ I have come to realise that mercy is not just what God does, it is who my Saviour is.”
