Afrobeats singer Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon has opened up about his past battle with mental health, citing pressures from family and the music industry as contributing factors.
In a recent livestream with Carter Efe, he shared that the intense stress led to hospitalisation for therapy.
He explained that in 2022, he struggled to meet family demands and achieve success in the industry, which took a toll on his mental well-being.

Crayon stated that he released the popular tracks 'Ijo Labalaba' and 'Overloading' after therapy.
He said, “In 2022, I had mental health issues from all sort of stress; family, industry, trying to be number one stress. I was hospitalised for a long therapy session, then I came out and dropped Labalaba and Overloading.”
