Basketball promoter and Mark D' Ball Basketball Championship initiator, Igoche Mark, has called on Nigerians to move beyond celebration and embody the values of Easter in their daily lives.

Mark, in a personally signed message, said the season serves as a reminder that suffering is not the end of the story.

"Easter is our yearly reminder that suffering is not the end of the story. The cross speaks of sacrifice, patience, and love that holds even when it costs; the empty tomb speaks of new beginnings and a hope that cannot be locked away. In a time weighed down by hardship, that message steadies us," he wrote.

He urged believers to translate faith into action, warning that celebration without practice rings hollow.

"If we claim the grace we celebrate, we must reflect it — by forgiving faster, serving more freely, and choosing peace over retaliation. Faith without that practice rings hollow, and our country needs believers who live what they profess," he said.

Mark closed with a call to service: "May this season deepen your trust in God and your love for neighbour. Let it stir us to lift others, mend what's broken, and act with courage. Easter people do not wait for change; we carry it."
