The Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for what it described as his exemplary leadership, crediting him for a hitch-free and peaceful Southeast zonal congress held in Enugu.

State Chairman, Austin Onyedebelu, said the governor’s “sterling leadership” ensured a rancour-free exercise, noting that he demonstrated tact and wisdom in managing diverse interests within the party.

The party expressed appreciation for Uzodimma’s sacrifices and commitment, while congratulating members of the newly elected Southeast Zonal Executive Committee led by Ijeoma Arodiogbu.

In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Onwuasoanya Jones, the chapter said it was confident that Arodiogbu’s experience in party organisation and management would strengthen efforts to expand the APC’s influence across the Southeast.

The party also commended national delegates for their dedication and wished them safe travels to Abuja ahead of the forthcoming national convention, expressing optimism that the event would rank among the most successful in the party’s history.
