Social media influencer Papaya Ex, has accused a police officer of assaulting her in the Ajah area of Lagos State.

The alleged incident occurred late at night while she was returning from a shoot.

Papaya Ex, who made the claim during an emotional TikTok live session on Friday, alleged that the officer struck her face with a gun, assaulted her driver, and touched her inappropriately.

She displayed visible injuries, including a wound mark on her face, during a TikTok live session.

The influencer alleged that the officer also slapped her, hit her buttocks and breasts, and forcibly took her mobile phone.

Although the alleged assault was not captured on video, Papaya Ex attributed this to network issues.

In videos circulating online, an officer could be heard speaking during a heated exchange, as both parties argued.

The incident has sparked widespread concern on social media, with calls for an investigation.

The authenticity of the allegations and the full context of the incident could not be independently verified.

The Lagos State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the claims.
