United States-based investment advisor, Seun Ajongbolo, has said he will contest the House of Representatives seat for Akoko South East/Akoko South West in Ondo State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

Ajongbolo spoke at a gathering attended by party leaders, monarchs, youths, market women and other stakeholders.

He said he is joining the race because he wants to return home and contribute to development of Akoko through good representation at National Assembly.

“I declare my intention to contest House of Representatives seat for Akoko South East/Akoko South West on the banner of our great party,” he said.

He said he spent the last decade in U.S as retirement investment advisor while pursuing his PhD, noting the experience exposed him to global development and innovation, which he will leverage to address challenges of the constituency.
