Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are set to compete for the signature of Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare ahead of the summer transfer window, as both Istanbul clubs look to bolster their attacks.

According to reports, the rivals are exploring a potential loan deal for the forward, who joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from KRC Genk last summer.

Despite settling in only recently, Arokodare's immediate future is now in doubt following Wolves' difficult campaign. The club are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, with relegation to the Championship appearing increasingly inevitable.

That downturn has triggered internal reassessment, with several players — Arokodare among them — now linked with temporary exits to maintain competitive sharpness ahead of next season.
