As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate this year’s International Women Day (IWD), Continental Hotels Group has reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment as evident in its policies and practices, which promote fair recruitment, professional development, and inclusive leadership. Women hold key roles across hotel departments, and the group actively supports their growth through continuous training, coaching, and mentorship.

In celebrating this year’s IWD, the hotel will host a range of activities, including an all-staff lunch, talks from healthcare and wellness specialists, and panel discussions on the theme Give to Gain.

Continental Hotel’s Cluster Director, Sales and Marketing Mr. Richard Mutanda disclosed that the group’s activities included special recognition for standout female performers who exemplify dedication, leadership, and the Give to Gain spirit.
