Benin City Real Estate Developer and cultural advocate Imasuen Izoduwa Amowie has extended his warmest congratulations to Dr Osahon Okunbo following his recognition as Vanguard Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

In a statement, the Ughoron Group's founder described Dr Okunbo as “the embodiment of a new era of Nigerian builders those who see beyond immediate gain and choose to invest their time and resources into institutions that will outlast them.”

He also drew attention to Dr Okunbo’s role as a torchbearer for the late Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo’s legacy: “To be the son of such a giant and still carve your own path one marked by integrity and innovation is no small feat,” Mr Izoduwa said.

Izoduwa further commended Dr. Okunbo's stewardship of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL), his leadership at Vetrinox Capital, and his sustained patronage of the Nigerian creative economy through The Osahon Okunbo Foundation (TOOF), which has supported emerging artists, screenwriters, and cultural institutions across the country.

He concluded his message by wishing Dr. Okunbo "continued grace, sharper vision, and the strength to build still greater things," and praised the Vanguard editorial board for what he called its "consistent eye for substance over spectacle" in selecting honourees who reflect the working spine of the Nigerian economy.

The Vanguard Young Entrepreneur of the Year recognition, conferred earlier this month, cited Dr. Okunbo's diversified investments and his leadership across Nigeria's energy, hospitality, and creative sectors. Industry watchers have described the award as one of the most significant private-sector honours conferred on a Nigerian under forty in the current cycle.

Izoduwa's message joins a growing chorus of felicitations from business leaders, cultural figures, and public officials across the country, as Dr. Okunbo continues to consolidate his standing as one of the defining young industrialists of his generation.
