Nigerian actor and filmmaker, John Tyler Ekanem, has released a new feature film, Brothers in Arms, drawing attention for its unique storytelling and spiritual undertones.
The film, which premiered on John Ekanem TV on Saturday, April 5, 2026, has quickly become a topic of discussion among fans and viewers.

Ekanem, who wrote and served as executive producer of the project, uses the film to emphasise the role of prayer in navigating both success and personal struggles, while maintaining a compelling narrative.
Directed by Valentine Edochie, the movie features a cast that includes Stan Nze, Ekanem, Tana Adelana, Eso Dike, Blessing Obasi-Nze, and Chinonso Arubayi.
Speaking about the film, Adelana described it as entertaining and easy to watch. “This is content for sit back, relax and enjoy literally,” she said.
Brothers in Arms follows the journey of three ambitious partners—Chuka, Bola and Jimoh—who rise from humble beginnings to build a successful company founded on trust and shared vision. However, as success brings mounting pressures, internal conflicts begin to threaten their bond, forcing them to reflect and return to the foundation of their relationship—prayer.
Ekanem expressed excitement over the release, noting that the film offers relatable themes and emotional depth.
“I am excited about the release of this film. It’s currently showing on John Ekanem TV and I can assure you it’s a story that would keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It offers insight into everyday life and is suitable for everyone,” he said.
