King Charles III and Queen Camilla officially received President Bola Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday, at Windsor Castle with a 42-gun salute by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales presented Tinubu to the Royal Family.

The arrival videos were posted on X by the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.

He wrote, “King Charles and Queen Camila officially received President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle. They were presented to the # RoyalFamily by Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales.

“They were treated to a 42-gun salute by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.”

This two-day state visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations, attract foreign investment, and foster cooperation in key sectors like trade, security, and education.

The visit includes a state banquet at St George’s Hall, where King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales will be in attendance.

President Tinubu's trip is expected to yield significant new partnerships and memoranda of understanding between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
