Juventus are reportedly preparing a massive €120 million operation to lure Victor Osimhen back to Serie A as they look to re-establish their domestic dominance, according to Italian media.

The move comes as the Bianconeri look to capitalize on comments made by the Nigerian striker during a press conference ahead of their recent UEFA Champions League clash.

Osimhen sparked speculation by openly praising the Turin giants, describing them as "one of the most important clubs in football history" and a place where "90% of players would dream of playing."

While sources close to Galatasaray suggest they are unwilling to part with their star man—reportedly valuing him at closer to €150 million—the links between Osimhen and Juventus are growing stronger. Interestingly, the player admitted he had the opportunity to join Juventus before his high-profile move to Istanbul.

The transfer rumours provided a cinematic backdrop to Wednesday night’s Champions League drama. Despite Juventus winning the second leg 3–2 after extra time, it was Osimhen and Galatasaray who celebrated at the final whistle, advancing 7–5 on aggregate.

Osimhen’s goal during the match wasn't just a blow to his potential future employers; it was a historic milestone. With that strike, he became the highest-scoring foreign player in Galatasaray’s European history, reaching 13 goals and surpassing the decade-long record of Czech legend Milan Baroš (12).

Osimhen was named Man of the Match after a commanding display that showcased why he is valued in the nine-figure range. Beyond his goal, he registered five shots and completed 15 passes with 66.7% accuracy, leading the line tirelessly even as Juventus pushed with 10 men.

"This match was disappointing from the start in terms of how hard they pushed us," Osimhen told the media post-match. "Even with 10 men, Juventus showed why they are a great side. I’m happy with my goal, but I'm happier for the fans. They never stopped supporting us, even when we were behind."

Galatasaray now look ahead to the Round of 16 draw, where they could face Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool.
