Senator representing the Kaduna North Senatorial District, Ibrahim Khalid Mustapha on Thursday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, who presided over plenary read Mustapha’s letter of defection on the floor.
The Kaduna North Senate cited protracted crisis and litigations in the PDP as his reason for defection.
He stated that the interest of his constituents would be better preserved in his new party, the ADC.
