The Kano State Police Command has successfully reunited a missing teenager, Yusuf Sabiu, 16, with his family after a thorough investigation revealed his true identity and led to his parents' identification.
Sabiu, initially claiming to be a Spanish national named Alex Ansol, was found in Dadin Kowa Village, Doguwa local government area of Kano State.

His parents, Saminu Yusuf and Habiba Alhassan Adam, from Kaduna and Plateau States respectively, had been separated for over 13 years.
The police handed Sabiu over to his parents at Doguwa Police Division, Kano, thanks to a swift response aided by the public sharing the initial report.
"This outcome highlights the importance of timely reporting and community support in resolving such cases," said spkkesman Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.
The police urge parents to report missing persons promptly and advise separated parents to maintain communication on their children's welfare.
