The Katsina State Government has announced plans to reconstruct the 19-kilometre Garo-Yar Riga-Randawa Road in Mashi Local Government Area of the state

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who made this known while inaugurating one of 60 newly established Outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP) centres in Mashi, stated that  the road project had been captured in the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAMP).

He said the reconstruction of the road would enhance connectivity. It would ease the transportation of agricultural produce and support rural development, he added.

The governor appealed to residents of the affected communities to remain patient while awaiting the commencement of the project.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving both healthcare delivery and infrastructure across the state.

The reconstruction forms part of broader efforts to improve rural infrastructure and boost economic activities in the state.

 Radda was accompanied by Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji, and other members of the State Executive Council (SEC).
