Founder of the African Youth Educational Empowerment and Social Support Initiative (AYEESSI), Kazeem Ojoye, is set to lead other dignitaries to a youth-focused technology startup pitch event scheduled to hold in Ibadan on February 14, 2026.
The event, tagged “Pitch Your Startup Tech Idea,” will take place at the Federal College of Agriculture (FCA), Ibadan, and is aimed at providing young tech entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present their ideas to investors, industry experts, and innovation enthusiasts.
Organised under the aegis of AYEESSI, the programme seeks to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth participation in the technology sector through mentorship, exposure, and access to potential funding.
Mr Ojoye, a community leader and youth empowerment advocate, will deliver the keynote address at the event. He is the founder of AYEESSI, a non-governmental organisation focused on education, self-sustainability, and social development, with activities spanning Nigeria and the German diaspora.
He has also served in leadership roles, including Chairman of the Youth Enlightenment Empowerment and Self-Sustainability Initiative (YEESSI) and Chairman of the Nigerian Community Bayern (NCBG) e.V. in Germany, where he supported community development and diaspora engagement in Bavaria.
The organisers said the event will bring together young startups and key stakeholders to support innovation and advance emerging tech ideas. Sponsors of the programme include the Karim Adeyemi Foundation, Wakajeje, Cardify, Lukespot, and the Oladimeji Renew Movement.
