Kehinde Adegbodu, the surviving twin brother of late gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu, has expressed concerns following an armed robbery attack on their family residence.

In a video shared on their official Facebook channel, Kehinde disclosed that he was away in Osun State at the time of the incident.

He explained that the attackers confronted his late brother’s wife and children, who were at home during the invasion. According to him, the assailants reportedly spent over 45 minutes searching the house while demanding information about his whereabouts, Taiwo’s room, and other valuables.

Kehinde suggested that the attack may have been influenced by assumptions that funds raised for Taiwo’s burial by gospel musician Yinka Ayefele were kept in the house.

He explained, “I wasn’t at home when the incident happened. I was in Osun State when my late twin brother’s wife called me, and her voice was shaking. She said armed robbers came to the house and were saying, ‘Where is Kehinde? Where is Taiwo's room that died? Where is their jewellery? Where is Taiwo’s phone? Where is the car key? We are here because of Kehinde. We want to see him. Where is his room? The robbers took all my clothes, valuables, and cash. One of the robbers called their boss on the phone, saying that I wasn’t around

"I think the robbers thought that the money Yinka Ayefele raised for us was still with me. These robbers don’t even care that we are mourning. They spent over 45 minutes at our house. The money raised for us was used to develop our building project so we could bury Taiwo there. I will post my account balance so that these robbers will know there is no money there. Please don’t come and h@rm our children. I am always on the road. I don’t have money, and I don’t live a fake life. Even the car we are using was a gift. Since the incident, our kids have been living in fear; they are scared to sleep in the house”.
