Members of the Onigba Descendants in the Idi Arere area of Ibadan have commended the Mogaji of the extended family, Chief Abayomi Gbadamosi, over his recent healthcare intervention in the community.
The family praised the traditional leader for facilitating healthcare services for scores of family members and other residents of Ibadan.
Many beneficiaries received medical tests, while others were provided with drugs and other essential materials during the outreach. Some participants were also given eyeglasses.

In a letter of appreciation, the extended family described the Mogaji as a unifying figure between the younger and older members of the compound.
The declaration was conveyed in a letter signed by the family’s Secretary, Mr. Ayokunnu Afeez Iyanda, and addressed to the Mogaji. A copy of the letter was made available to journalists on Monday.
The kinsmen noted that the Mogaji’s presence and contributions to the extended family have not gone unnoticed.

They added that Gbadamosi’s steady leadership, integrity, and advocacy have helped to keep the family united and protected.

The letter read, "On behalf of every member of our extended family—those who remain at home and those who live abroad—I write to express our deepest gratitude for your true and faithful representation of our name, our values, and our heritage. Your steady leadership, unwavering integrity, and tireless advocacy have kept our family united, protected our interests, and lifted our reputation wherever we go.
"You have stood as a bridge between generations and across continents, speaking for us with dignity, defending our traditions with wisdom, and opening doors for younger members seeking opportunity beyond our shores. Your counsel in times of difficulty, your presence at family milestones, and your quiet sacrifices behind the scenes have not gone unnoticed. Because of you, relatives far from home feel connected; those at home feel supported; and the wider community sees in us a family guided by honor and purpose.
"Please accept this letter as a small token of our appreciation and a public recognition of your service. We pray for your continued health, strength, and favor, and we pledge our respect and support as you continue to lead. May your name remain a source of pride for Ile Onigba's Compound and for every one of us who calls this family home. With profound respect and gratitude."
