The group said the endorsement reflects Basiru’s administrative competence, professionalism, and leadership capacity, which it noted have contributed to the stability of the party at various levels.
KPSF expressed confidence in his chances of securing another term, citing what it described as an outstanding and unmatched performance in office.
Speaking at the endorsement ceremony, the forum’s state coordinator, Sani Idakwo Philips, commended Basiru’s record, describing his achievements as unprecedented in the history of the party.
The forum also urged delegates and stakeholders of the APC to support Basiru’s re-election bid, stressing that continuity in leadership would enhance the party’s growth and development.
