A grassroots youth group in Kogi West  has purchased the N20 million All Progressive Congress(APC) senatorial nomination forms for next year’s National Assembly elections in support of the re-election of Senator Sunday Karimi.

Karimi is the Senator representing  Kogi West at the National Assembly.

In a statement, Karimi  expressed appreciation to the group.

Insiders revealed that the money for the form was raised through small donations ranging from N100 to N3,000 by members of the group who were made up of widows, farmers, apprentices, traders and students.

Karimi described the development as a true reflection of community ownership and participatory democracy.

According to him, the gesture goes beyond just contributions, representing a collective investment in a vision for open, transparent, qualitative and accountable leadership for the shared progress of the people of Kogi West.

The lawmaker added that his re-election bid is driven by a desire to continue his service to the people of Kogi West while praying for divine guidance in the pursuit of the goal.

The APC National Organising Secretary, Sulieman Argungu, on Tuesday in Abuja, declared the process for the sale of form open.
