The Dean of the Faculty of Education Lagos State University (LASU),  Prof. Olugbenga Akindoju, is set to deliver the institution’s 119th inaugural lecture.

The lecture is slated for Tuesday, March 24 at the Buba Marwa Auditorium on the main campus in Ojo. It has as theme: “Bridging Gaps, Reimagining Futures: Unveiling Digital Pathways and Innovations for Transformative Education in Sub-Saharan Africa”.

In a statement, National President of   Association of Early Childhood and Basic Education Instructors in Nigeria (AECBEIN), Dr. Simeon Fowowe, described Akindoju as a remarkable academic whose presence and contributions command respect.

“He is widely recognized for his vibrancy, reflecting a dynamic energy that inspires colleagues and students alike. His focus is unwavering; he approaches both scholarship and administration with clarity of purpose, ensuring that his initiatives are both strategic and impactful.

“As he prepares to deliver his inaugural lecture this coming Tuesday, the academic community anticipates a presentation that will not only reflect his scholarly depth but also inspire students, educators, and colleagues to pursue excellence in education with the same diligence and commitment he embodies,” he said.
