The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University(LASU) Prof. Ibiyemi  Olatunji-Bello, has  congratulated  Dr Aminat Olawunmi Ige-Lawal, a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, on her appointment as the Education Secretary of the Alimosho Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) by the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB).

The vice chancellor described  the appointment as meritorious and a fitting testament to Dr Ige-Lawal’s unwavering commitment to educational development, academic excellence, and public service.

 She noted  that the appointment reflects not only Dr Ige-Lawal’s professional competence and integrity, but also her passion for advancing the quality of education at the grassroots.

Prof. Olatunji-Bello  wished her a successful tenure in office, expressing confidence that she will bring vision, dedication, and innovation to the administration of basic education in the area. She added  that her service will positively impact learners, educators, and the wider community.
