During the event, 1,000 free JAMB forms were given to pupils, while vocational trainees graduated in skills including hairdressing, fashion designing and digital marketing.
For many beneficiaries, the impact was life-changing. Mercy Christian, a graduate of the Women’s Vocational Training Programme, described the experience as transformative.
“I am happy to be a graduate. As a beginner, I learned many things. I can sew, cut, take measurements, and I am still upgrading,” she said.

“Cataract and pterygium detected during screening are documented and referred for surgery. The beauty of this programme is that no one is turned back. Everyone must get succour,” he said.
A beneficiary, Paul, who returned for a follow-up, said the initiative is life-changing, noting he had previously received glasses and was now awaiting a specialised pair.
At the Oluremi Tinubu Hall, Yishawu also rolled out the 13th edition of the free JAMB forms scheme.
Beneficiary Chiamanda expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pursue higher education, while a parent, Charity, testified that her children had benefited repeatedly from the programme.
Beyond education and health, Yishawu said empowerment remains central to his representation. Graduates also emerged from training in catering, tie and dye, welding, aluminium works, data analytics and digital marketing.
