A lawyer, Abraham Olugbenga Ojo, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Ekiti State House of Assembly to represent Ido/Osi Constituency 2.
Ojo, who hails from Ilogbo Ward in Ilogbo, Ido/Osi Local Government Area of the state, made his intention known in a statement on Tuesday.
The aspirant said he would contest the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
He stated that his decision to join the race was driven by his desire to provide effective representation and facilitate meaningful development for the constituency.
Ojo pledged to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency and accountability if elected into office.

According to him, he possesses the required qualifications, experience and vision needed to serve the people of the constituency diligently.
“As a registered voter and dedicated member of the APC, I stand ready to uphold the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and serve with accountability and dedication,” he stated.
The lawyer also appealed to residents of the constituency for support and prayers ahead of the shadow poll election, saying the constituency deserves qualitative representation.
